On the road again...well, okay, a plane.

I'm off to Malaysia and Singapore again. The last holiday didn't start too well owing to some stuff going on back in Australia, mostly work-related, so with the help of my bosses I'm at the airport and leaving for Singalaysia again tonight.

I've got a full-on 18 days planned, which includes stand up Paddle board yoga, two yoga retreats, visiting five of our gyms that have recently opened in Singapore, horse riding through the jungle and down the beach, a cycling tour through paddy fields and a very large water park in KL.

The good news is that 90% of the singapore part of the trip is tax deductible, as my boss has asked me to meet the teams and take lots of photos of their clubs. These guys are geographically isolated from other clubs globally and won't be getting much love , so I'm more than happy to visit and give them a taste of Kiwaussie (pronounced Quasi, as I'm a kiwi living in Aussie).

To add to the good news, I've just found out that my Optiontown upgrade to three empty seats has been granted, so once again I'll be the only one (or one of a few very lucky ones) to have a whole plane row to myself. This cost me $28 AUD but it is so worth it on an overnight flight. Seriously, I like my own space and the older I get, the less tolerant I am of other people at close proximity.

Bucking that trend is the fact that I am staying in an eight bed dorm at my friend Tony Tan's backpacker hostel in Singapore on Sunday and Monday night. Singapore is hell expensive and Tony's joint is very close to two of our clubs. I know the area well and with public transport being so amazing in Singapore, there is little point isolating myself in Chinatown again. It is only for two nights, hopefully nobody snores...Annaliese plus sleep deprivation = grumpy mess!

I sadly managed to lose my SD card to iPad adaptor in the last two weeks - the one that I spent hours running around Penang trying to find last year. I also spent hours running around Melbourne today trying to find a replacement. Sadly I was told by five different stores that Apple hasn't released them to retailers in Australia. Well, that is just garbage - I just found one in the duty free shop at Melbourne Airport - so now I can back up my photos again and upload them straight to Facebook or this blog.

I need to sneak around to the check in desk, so I' write again tomorrow.
